Fort Worth artist Helen Altman returns to Talley Dunn Gallery (5020 Tracy St.) for the opening reception of her latest exhibit, Clear View. Altman’s work has always had a naturalistic shade, and Clear View expresses that through intricate bird sculptures and tree paintings. Also on Saturday night is a group show entitled Pleased to Meet Me, featuring work from emerging artists Kristen Cochran, Rachel Cox, Jessica Halonen, Kelly O’Connor, Laurie Frick and Michelle Rawlings. Reception runs 6 to 8 p.m., with an artist talk at 5:30 p.m. Both shows run through July 27. Call 214-521-9898 or visit talleydunn.com for more info.
Tuesdays-Saturdays. Starts: June 8. Continues through July 27, 2013
