Man's World

Ladies, unless you have a microphone hidden in the locker of your man's clubhouse, then there's no way you can truly know him. At least that's the idea behind Ron Stout's Secrets From Inside the Clubhouse: What Men REALLY Think About Women. Never mind the fact that most guys I know try to avoid "the clubhouse," mostly because they're all full of naked old dudes snapping towels at each other and spouting off Rush Limbaugh quotes (at least in my experience). If you believe Stout, however, these are the last bastions of masculinity, full of secrets that would set the average woman's ear afire (or at least pique her interest enough that she'd fork over the $24.95 retail price to find out what "Secret No. 31: The Ultimate Secret" is). Hear Stout's thoughts on the matter when he visits Borders, 3600 McKinney Ave., to sign his book at 7 p.m. Thursday. Call 214-219-0512.
