A Christmas Carol meets CATS? Does Tiny Tim have a hairball? I'm confused. Actually, it's Christmas Carol Miracle, put on by Creative Arts Theatre & School (meow), and it's both feline-free and family-friendly. The musical takes place in small-town Texas in December 1939. A group of orphans from Abba House enter the annual Christmas Carol Contest with hopes of winning the prize money and saving their troubled orphanage, when along comes some American Idol wannabe called Christopher who's got a serious voice and attitude problem. Who will win the prize money, and how many Christmas carols will we hear along the way? Christmas Carol Miracle runs Friday through December 14 with showtimes Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $7. CATS is located at 1100 W. Randol Mill Road in Arlington. Call 817-861-CATS, visit creativearts.org or e-mail [email protected]
