"Tell your Momma something's gonna get her" because Little Shop of Horrors is in town. The 1950s sci-fi spoof will be featured Tuesday through July 12 at the Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth. Michael-Leon Wooley, who played the voice of the smooth-talking, blood-drinking Audrey II on Broadway will, once again, be the voice of this twisted and exotic plant at these performances. Study up on the lyrics before you go and sing "Feed me, Seymour" with Audrey II and Seymour in a Skid Row florist shop, while Twoie convinces Seymour, the shop assistant, to feed him human blood. The performances are a production of Casa Manana. Showtimes are at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday to Thursday, 8 p.m. on Friday, 11 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets range from $30 to $75, and there is a discount for large groups. While the show is suitable for most audiences, parental discretion is advised: Although the songs are a riot, blood-sucking plants might permanently scar some kids from ever entering florist shops. For more information, call 817-212-4280 or visit casamanana.org.
Tuesdays-Thursdays, 7:30 p.m.; Fri., July 10, 8 p.m.; Sat., July 11, 2 & 8 p.m.; Sun., July 12, 2 & 7 p.m. Starts: July 7. Continues through July 9, 2009
