Playing Doctor

After a lifetime of expensive, useless visits to Western doctors, homeopathy is tempting. Researching online, I've come across some wild-ass homeopathic meds, like this vial from a first-aid kit: Lachesis (Bushmaster Snake) 9x for "black, smelly wounds [and] disease state when body is thoroughly poisoned, great weakness." Jeez, my Red Cross kit has Band-Aids and iodine swabs. This "natural, noninvasive" hoodoo brings people back to life. What's in these kits? Homeopathy expert Alfie Wishart knows. After the classes, you will too. Create yours from health-store goods 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Bend Studio, 5014 McKinney Ave. Tickets are $25. Call 214-606-0770 or [email protected]
