Run With Resolve

Let's say your New Year's resolution was to finally get in shape this year. Well, join the club. We've all been there--some of us more than once. Perhaps you've noticed that your gym is more crowded than usual. Perhaps you've seen an uptick in health food sales at your local grocery store. But those trends will soon fade as the year progresses, so if you really want to commit to all this health and fitness business, there's only one option: takin' it to the streets. You'll have your opportunity Saturday at the Addison Conference Center, 15650 Addison Road, where the Rotary Resolution Run (including 5K, 10K and 1K Family Fun Run events) will kick off at 7 a.m. Registration is $25. Visit rotaryresolutionrun.com.

KEEP THE DALLAS OBSERVER FREE... Since we started the Dallas Observer, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Dallas, and we'd like to keep it that way. With local media under siege, it's more important than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" program, allowing us to keep offering readers access to our incisive coverage of local news, food and culture with no paywalls.
