Guess you're off the hook so long as you complete the 4.2-mile run or 2.5-mile walk. Leave the kids to the bounce houses, arts and crafts, and a "holiday play zone." Registration fees for the Reindeer Romp are $15 to $30, with a late fee for those entering after Thursday. Registration is at 6:30 p.m. and the run starts at 7:30 p.m. Friday at South Lakes Park, corner of Teasley and Hobson in Denton. Visit cityofdenton.com.
