Santa's Been Bad

According to kids, Santa Claus has always been a kind and jolly fat man. He's the guy whose tummy jiggles like a bowl full of jelly. Well, what about what Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donder and Blitzen think? Maybe Santa isn't as friendly as we all thought. What if he ended up on a sex offender list? Would he really jiggle like jelly if he were behind bars? Watch The Eight: Reindeer Monologues, and you're sure to find out. Written by Jeff Goode, this sick and twisted version of Christmas tells a tale of sex and scandal at the North Pole. When one of Santa's reindeer accuses him of sexual harassment, chaos erupts, and other reindeer on the team slowly but surely begin to let the cat out of the bag. Will Santa end up behind those bars or continue to get away with his disgusting acts and ruin Christmas for good? You might want to lock up your reindeer just in case. Don't forget that no means no, old man. The production is presented by Tumor Boy Productions and Project X. Performances take place 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through December 12 at the Green Zone Theater, 161 Riveredge Drive. A portion of the show's proceeds benefit Gilda's Club of North Texas. Tickets are $10. Call 214-938-4916 or visit
