I must have watched eleventy-hundred episodes of Whose Line Is It Anyway? back in the day, from the British version hosted by Clive Anderson to the American bastardization hosted by Drew Carey, which featured plenty of improv talent trying way too hard to be family-friendly--though to be fair, it did pave the way for Dave Chappelle's infamous "Wayne Brady's Show" skit. Actor-comedians Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood appeared on damn near every episode of the American version (and a lion's share of the British episodes), and when Whose Line? finally ended its impressive run, they took to the road, even landing a gig at the Congressional Radio and Television Correspondents' Association Dinner in 2007--though you might remember it better for the appearance of one "MC Rove." See the men that facilitated this bizarre nightmare fuel when An Evening With Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood rolls into town 8 p.m. Thursday at the Lakewood Theater, 1825 Abrams Parkway. Tickets are $25 to $79. Call 214-373-8000 or visit ticketmaster.com. Check out colinandbradshow.com for clips and more information about the show.
