Shakespeare in Like

Damn that Shakespeare. After a while, all his plays and plots start running together and sounding alike. I can't even remember in which one I was the shining star of the ensemble cast. For sure I was in Love's Labour's Lost and maybe Much Ado About Nothing, but for the rest, I'll have to refer to my theater résumé and flattering headshot. I do know, however, I never performed Shakespeare in a club or bar, just in the pleasant outdoor atmosphere of midsummer steamy heat in manmade-fabric costumes. Good times. Support the proper treatment of actors by seeing Shakespeare inside for once. The pastoral comedy, As You Like It, will be performed dinner theater-style at Dan's Silverleaf, 103 Industrial St. in Denton, 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. Sunday. Call 940-320-2000 for further information and reservations, which are required.
Sat., May 19, 7:30 p.m.; Sun., May 20, 4 p.m.
