Take It to the Streets

Every city is chock-full of artists who have a vision for artistry and arty things and just can't wait to share their artitude with anyone within sight line. Fort Worth and the surrounding townships are no exception. That's why Fort Worth has one of the largest art showcases in the Southwest. This year's Main Street Fort Worth Arts Festival takes place Thursday through Sunday and features over 60 musicians, live performers and other artistic activities for anyone who saunters down the city's picturesque Main Street. It's more than just paintings and sculptures. The "Music on Main" series will feature performances by Robert Cray, Mingo Fishtrap and The Mavericks and Raul Malo. Your can also quench your physical hunger for the arts at the culinary arts stands complete with a wide array of craft beers and the "Wine Experience." The festival is located along Main Street in downtown Fort Worth between Weatherford and 9th Street.
