For what you are about to see, you must enter quietly into the realm of genius. From the moment Young Frankenstein enters Transylvania Heights, he will make you roar with laughter as he faces the dilemma of continuing life as a brain surgeon or reanimating the dead. The one thing he will not need to ask of you however, is that you remain in your seats, which shouldn’t be a problem for lovers of this cult classic film-turned-stage-show. The doctor assures you there is nothing to fear, except maybe a stomachache from laughing too much. Five time Tony-winning director and choreographer Susan Stroman brings Mel Brooks’ monster hit Young Frankenstein to life March 14 and 15 at Bass Performance Hall, which is located at 525 Commerce St. in Fort Worth. The musical begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $22. Call 817-212-4280 or visitbasshall.com.
