The Art of Caring

If you've been paying any attention at all (and it's OK to admit you haven't), you've likely heard about how the end is nigh, since we can't seem to recycle, conserve or generally be bothered to really care about our environment. We may or may not save the world but we can marvel at it. Go see earth.water, a free exhibit of the works of Janis Goodman and Steve Hilton as they examine environmental activity through art. The exhibition is on display Cohn Drennan Contemporary, 1107 Dragon St. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. Call 214-708-8051 or visit for more information.
Tuesdays-Saturdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Starts: March 2. Continues through March 26, 2011
KEEP THE DALLAS OBSERVER FREE... Since we started the Dallas Observer, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Dallas, and we'd like to keep it that way. With local media under siege, it's more important than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" program, allowing us to keep offering readers access to our incisive coverage of local news, food and culture with no paywalls.
