It's casual dining night. Mom wants Olive Garden and Dad wants Chili's. Mom decides Dad thinks she's too fat to eat pasta and that's why he's been seeing so much of that neighbor woman. Dad says maybe Mom could stand to lose a few pounds. Mom cries and then the kids start punching each other. The lesson? You can't please everybody all the time. Comedian Christopher Titus knows this, but that doesn't keep him from joking about his mom shooting her husband and fist-fighting his alcoholic dad. Some will scoff, some may cry and some will find his Thursday through Sunday run at the Addison Improv, 4980 Belt Line Road, down right, down home hilarious. Tickets are $22. Showtimes are 8:30 p.m. Thursday, 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Friday, 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Saturday, and 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Call 972-404-8501 or visit improvclubs.com.
