Discussions over preserving the Thomas Building in downtown Dallas were laid to rest Sunday morning, during the vestige cotton building's implosion.
Its bones were weak and the interior had flooded repeatedly, causing erosion to occur at an accelerated rate. Sad about its pending absence but totally stoked about all of that dynamite, we sent Stephanie Embree to capture the collapse in photos, which we've woven back together, GIF-style. The above video was taken on the scene and posted to YouTube. If it's yours, throw your name in the comments; we'll give you a verbal high-five.
Now, let's watch this thing crumble and pour one out.
