Fashion etiquette dictates that there are roughly four months of the year during which white can be worn. And though no one follows the rules anymore, there is one photographer whose one demand is that if you want your picture taken on Saturday, you must be dressed in all white. As part of an art exhibition for his work at Laura Rathe Fine Art, photographer George Krause plans to take portraits of gallery visitors using his signature light-box technique. You will then be able to purchase these portraits in three sizes. Of course, why anyone would want to hang up a picture of themselves in their home is beyond me. I’m putting a white sweater on my dog. The reception takes place at 5 p.m. Saturday at Laura Rathe Fine Art (1130 Dragon St). More info at laurarathe.com.
