Support the independent voice of Dallas and help keep the future of Dallas Observer free.

You got a DIFF badge, that's awesome! You're about to have so much fun. Now the hard part: With five theaters screening simultaneously, you need spreadsheets to organize your daily plan. Guess what? We made spreadsheets! You can chill out and eat a taco. You're welcome.

Here's our picks for today, Friday April 13:

1.) Start your day at Magnolia 5 with Cinema 6 (4:30 p.m.).

2.) Choose between staying in that theater for The Brooklyn Brothers Beat the Best(7:30 p.m.), or kickin' it over to Anjelika 6 for Save the Date (7 p.m.).

3.) Somebody Up There Likes Me (Anjelika 6, at 10 p.m.)

4.) Still hangin' tough? Chose between the midnight screening of The Pact at Angelika 7 and Tormented at Magnolia 4.

Keep the Dallas Observer Free... Since we started the Dallas Observer, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Dallas, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Dallas with no paywalls.
