With the city on red alert due to the epidemic of chronic latenightous, most of us wake up feeling like the living dead … so why not exploit it? Every Zombie Stumblin’ is Saturday’s call to the undead. It combines the beloved zombie walk with a bar crawl, dancing and a flash mob. While that might normally require too much “brain” activity for real zombies, we can all revel in the fact that we’re actually human, aren’t infected and can take off layers of make-up at the end of the day. Stumbling begins at 4 p.m. Saturday and continues on until the bars close. Dress as your favorite zombie, your favorite thing turned zombie, a zombie hunter or, what the hell, Mayor Mike and a mosquito. The location is hush-hush until closer to the event (dang flash mobs) but it will be in the downtown/Deep Ellum areas — just keep a carefully peeled eyeball on the EZS Facebook page, facebook.com/events/213953365386383/, and be sure to register (it’s free!) on the Eventbrite page, everyzombiestumblin.eventbrite.com.
