Love and its assorted baggage get a musical unpacking in It's Only Life, a musical revue of songs by John Bucchino, creator of the scores for Urban Myths, Lavender Girl and A Catered Affair, among others. Talky, self-critical, urban singles dealing with love's foibles are the threads running through the It's Only Life's collection of more than 20 songs by Bucchino, whose works have been recorded by the likes of Art Garfunkel, Judy Collins, Liza Minnelli and Patti LuPone. (In other words, if your significant other wants to see this show, but you have tickets to, say, a monster truck rally, maybe it's time to re-examine your relationship — or fake a case of the flu.) Theatre Three presents It's Only Life through December 11 at Theatre Too!, 2800 Routh St. Monday's preview performance takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $30. Regular performances are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, with tickets prices from $25 to $30. Call for 214-871-3300 or visit theatre3dallas.com for tickets.
