Some people consider a marathon an accomplishment. And running 26.2 whole miles is definitely something to be proud of, but there are other stamina-heavy activities that require more finesse. Like tattooing for 24 hours straight. Or holding a world record for most tattoos done in 24 hours. Oliver Peck made it into Guinness for finishing 415 tattoos one Friday the 13th (he inked the number 13 over and over), and this Friday the 13th he’s starting a new stunt: the first Elm Street Music & Tattoo Festival, a five-day celebration of music and body art. Bands will be playing at Trees, 2709 Elm St.; Three Links, 2704 Elm St.; and Wit’s End, 2724 Elm St. It also kicks off with another 24-hour tattoo marathon on Friday, featuring 50 visiting tattooers. Fact: Twenty-four hours of tattooing is the equivalent of running three marathons. Weekend passes are $40 and VIP passes are $100. Visit elmstreetmusictattoo.com for more information.
