The New Year's Eve planning should have commenced long ago amidst the marathon of preparation and celebration for the religious holiday of your choice. December is never the time to settle in. That would be...I dunno...maybe the heat seared month of August. But you can at least plan this holiday for yourself, and Hotel ZaZa is offering up some incentive to ring in 2009 at their place. The hotel's hosting a good ol' classy New Year's Eve masquerade party. Going all Venetian style, ZaZa says it will be a marriage between Cirque du Soleil and a night in Venice. The incentive? The three best masks win a weekend getaway at Hotel ZaZa. If you're going all out for the night, two dining events will be held at Dragonfly at 5 and 7 p.m. So go watch Eyes Wide Shut for an idea of what to wear and "Auld Lang Syne" it at the Mystique '09 New Year's Eve Party at Hotel ZaZa, 2332 Leonard St. in Uptown. Party admission is $50 per person and attire is party chic. Dinner guest tickets are $75 to $125. For further details or to make reservations, call 214-550-9500 or visit hotelzaza.com/dallas.
