We're getting cool news this week as Dallas' spring and summer concerts continue to roll in. The Bomb Factory adds some new shows with local flavor. Grand Prairie's Verizon Theatre has reeled in some classic names. And the outdoor venues continue prepping for summer.
  • Alejandro Rose-Garcia, better known as Shakey Graves, has a self-proclaimed ambitious new album, Can't Wake Up, out this spring. As a result, he'll be out on the road touring quite a bit. The Austin native will appear at The Bomb Factory on June 30 for a highly anticipated show. Tickets are on sale Friday at thebombfactory.com.

  • The Texas-bred, New York-based collective Snarky Puppy will be at The Bomb Factory on June 8. What started as a project among friends, all of whom were jazz studies students at the University of North Texas, has morphed into a huge undertaking.   • Donny and Marie bring their heralded, decade-spanning career of gold and platinum hits to the Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie for a July 5 show. The Osmonds have maintained a successful and lucrative singing and acting career since their 1970s heyday. Tickets are on sale Friday at axs.com.

  • Boy George and Culture Club are returning to the Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie for a career-spanning retrospective concert that will be sure to entertain.   • Veteran crooner Michael McDonald is also a big draw in the DFW area. He'll be back to play hits from Steely Dan, The Doobie Brothers, and his lengthy solo career July 22 at the Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie.   • Country trio Lady Antebellum brings its string of Top 40 hits to the Global Event Center at the Winstar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma.
