As the new year gets rolling, so do the show announcements. Over the next few months, Dallas will receive visits from a country megastar, a legendary symphonic ensemble and an internet viral sensation. All that and more, in this week's concert news.
  • Brad Paisley continues to be one of country music's most reliable performers. With 11 million albums sold, three Grammys earned and concerts numbering in the thousands, Paisley continues to hit the road multiple times a year. Catch him on his latest tour when he makes an appearance at the Global Event Center at Winstar in Oklahoma on March 29. Tickets are on sale Jan. 4 at ticketmaster.com.
  • Lil' Fizz, J-Boog, Raz-B and Omarion have announced a massive B2K reunion tour taking place this spring. The Millennium Tour kicks off in March and will make a local appearance April 19 at The Theater at Grand Prairie. Tickets are on sale Jan. 4 at axs.com.
  • Metalcore bangers Veil of Maya are heading out on the road in support of their latest album, False Idol.   • JBoog has announced an upcoming North American tour that will take him out to 33 cities. The reggae master will continue to support his last album, Wash House Ting. He'll perform locally at Gas Monkey Bar and Grill on March 20. Tickets are on sale Jan. 4 at ticketfly.com.
  • The annual NSFWknd Festival will take over Deep Ellum venues once again March 13-17. So far, performers include Ryley Walker, Broncho, Cold Cave, ADULT, Paul Cherry, Xibalba, Mike Krol and many more. Tickets are on sale Jan. 4 at paradeofflesh.com.
  • The Boston Pops Orchestra has long been a touring outfit with mass appeal. The nation's preeminent collection of classically trained musicians will spend a good portion of 2019 on the road crossing North America. On March 20, they'll perform at The Theatre at Grand Prairie.   • Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox has been an online sensation since its debut in 2009. The concept, in which a vast array of singers reproduce "jukebox" hits of all eras, is also a touring machine that has played to packed houses throughout the country.
