Each week City of Ate will give you the lowdown on a local happy hour in Quittin' Time, with the details and why you should or shouldn't take up the featured bar or restaurant on its drink specials.

Where: Campisi's downtown, 1520 Elm St. (and other select locations of the local chain), 214-752-0141

When: 4 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday

What: $2.50 domestics, house wines and margaritas, $3.25 imports and FREE PIZZA

Why: See above. FREE PIZZA. The thin-crust pizza from one of Dallas' most storied restaurant families may not be our favorite in town, but it is available at our favorite price at a few Campisi's spots. They could put out a platter of lukewarm Totino's and we'd come.

Unfortunately, our favorite Campisi's, the original "Egyptian Lounge" location on Mockingbird Lane, does not offer a happy hour. But the downtown location has some personality of its own, with low red lighting and enough seats to ensure you can seclude yourself for a quiet conversation -- or ensure that you have  a spot near the buffet tray. The popular toppings go fast as the pizzas come out at irregular intervals, so be sure you're close enough to keep an eye on the pies.
