If your pop is a little too generous with the charcoal starter fluid, there's no need to recharge your fire extinguishers and update your will before Fathers Day this year.

At 2 p.m. Sunday, June 21, Chef J Chastain will do the grilling this year at The Second Floor at the Westin Galleria. Not only will he cook up grilled goodies like Kobe beef hot dogs and shrimp diablo skewers, but he'll share his expertise with grilling tips...which presumably doesn't involve Matchlite charcoal.

Even better, the assortment of imported beers can quench the jalapeno's figurative fire instead of the literal ones created by amateur grillers. Really, is there anything beer can't do?

Cost is $30 per person. RSVP at 972-450-2978 or The Second Floor Web site.
