If you don't have a table already you can still snag one. Just a few moments ago I dialed the reservation number posted on the Escape Hatch (214-741-2629) this morning and Matt McCallister himself picked up the phone. He says there's still openings for that evening at his 80-seat restaurant.

After the Saturday evening dinner service the restaurant will close for two days and then start regular hours the following Tuesday. McCallister told me he plans to use the rest of that weekend to make some final adjustments. I wonder how long we'll have to wait before he pounds another Yelper?

FT-33 1617 Hi Line Drive, Suite 250 4:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m., Tuesday-Thursday, 4:30 p.m.-midnight, Friday-Saturday.
