Montreal-based indie-pop act Stars comes from a rich community of creative musicians up north. Namely, its members split their time between Stars and Canada's Broken Social Scene. And their wide range of style, sweetly sung melodies, and energetic performances isn't a far cry from what their other band is doing, as you can see from the above video.
But Stars is known for being a bit more cinematic than the Canadian supergroup -- especially on their new album, The Five Ghosts, which is the reason they'll be making a stop in Dallas at the Granada Theater on Saturday, November 20.
And the folks over at Granada Theater, who usually kick us a couple of tickets to give away, have been nice enough to pass along three Stars prize packs for this show. Included in the deal? A pair of tickets to the concert, two Stars tour shirts, two Stars tour posters, and a meet-and-greet with the band. And we here at DC9 are giving those packs away to three lucky readers.
