So, yes, make no mistake, Matt & Kim's rise in the past few years hasn't just been exponential; rather, it's still ongoing. And the band's had a powerful effect on at least one local artist of note: Erykah Badu openly acknowledged that the duo's nude stunt in Times Square for the above clip, "Lessons Learned," was the inspiration for her own controversial "Window Seat" video.
