Hell, the guys in Moving Mountains don't have enough eyeliner or length to their bangs to be a legitimate emo band (if such a thing exists).

Often compared (favorably) to The Appleseed Cast, these four New Yorkers produce a textured clamor that displays an interesting shoegazing bent. Songs like "With One's Heart in One's Mouth" and "Lights and Shapes" are unrelentingly catchy and propulsive numbers that ring in your ears long after they are over.

Moving Mountain's most recent effort is called Foreword and I suggest those in need of a good dose of structured noise head on down to the Prophet Bar this evening.

Also on this bill are Cincinnati's All the Day Holiday and Dallas' own Caterpillars, making this the number one Tuesday evening musical option.
