Clap Your Hands Say Yeah frontman Alec Ounsworth will perform Saturday night at Hailey's in Denton with young Denton singer/songwriter (and Rushmore fan) Chance Maggard, who performs under the name Forgetting Max Fischer.

He'll perform songs from his recent solo albums Mo Beauty and Skin and Bones plus selected Clap Your Hands Say Yeah songs. Backing him will be his band Flashy Python, consisting of baritone and pedal-steel guitarist Matt Sutton as well as The Teeth members Peter Modavis, Brian Ashby and Jonas Oesterle from Ounsworth's native Philadelphia.

Tickets are $12 for 21 and up, $14 for under 21. But the first person to e-mail me with the subject "Clap Your Hands Say Mo" will receive a pair of tickets to the show, courtesy of the venue.

Update: Contest is over. Congrats to the winner.
