So, to get you nice and limbered up for the big night, here are a few shows and songs that have referenced Dallas in the 30 years since the show first aired.

In one of his more sentimental songs, Hank Williams Jr. says, "This ain't Dallas, and this ain't Dynasty/This is a real-life two job working family."

On one verse, Pulp's "Bad Cover Version" references "the last days of Southfork."

The '80s British television show The Young Ones spoofed Dallas in a dream sequence.

Well, of course there's a rapper named JR Ewing.

And of course we've got our own local tie to the ghost of Jock Ewing, in the form of George Quartz. Here's his bumper for the Texas Theatre.
