This NBC 5 report says the yesterday's bust on a CD and DVD pirating operation not too far from TCU in Fort Worth is apparently "the largest such pirating operation ever taken down in the U.S."

Which, turns out, is fairly surprising... mostly 'cause the FWPD went into the house where they made this find thinking they were about to bust up a drug ring, only to turn around to the FBI and RIAA and say, "Hey, lookie lookie!"

But the biggest shocker in the story? Says the owner the nearby Record Town store: "CD sales are down."

Wow. Who knew? --Pete Freedman
