In retrospect, the show we all should have been at this past week happened on Friday night at the Loft, as Japanese punk rockers Guitar Wolf headlined a bill that also featured Nashville's Cheap Time and Dallas' own Missile. Our photo-snapping pal Mike Brooks was there, and his field report confirms that it was quite the balls-to-the-wall affair.

Writes Brooks: "The lead singer crawled off the stage after his set, puked for a couple minutes, and then came back for an encore. Now that's rock 'n' roll!"
