Perhaps you read Darryl Smyers' Q&A with Peter Case and are still wondering just what about the songwriter that could inspire so many other notables, including Hayes Carll, Victoria Williams and Chuck Prophet, to put together a tribute album, A Case for Case, just a few years ago. Case, a favorite of many other luminaries, including T-Bone Burnett and Loudon Wainwright III, is now in better health, following a 2009 double bypass, and touring behind his newly released Yep Roc album, Wig!, in which he was able to avail himself of the drumming services of kick-ass punk trailblazer DJ Bonebrake from X.

To be able to see this highly rated artist be fully appreciated by an intimate crowd would be quite the treat, right?
