For those of you living under a rock and not already aware of this: 22-year-old area folk powerhouse Sarah Jaffe will be performing at Club Dada tonight in celebration of her just-released Even Born Again EP, which, I'm sure, will be available for purchase at the show.

Jaffe goes on stage tonight at 9, and, aside from the release, it's should be a special performance: Five years ago, at the tender age of 17, Jaffe sang publicly for the first time on--you guessed it--Dada's stage.

With so many Jaffe diehards out there--I saw her open for Sera Cahoone and Grand Archives a few weeks back and the crowd size cut in half after Jaffe sang--expect a fairly crowded Dada. Maybe not BRMC crowded, but crowded nonetheless. --Pete Freedman
