Since we've already directed your attentions to one new music video from an act with area ties, really, what's another at the start of the work week? (Welcome back, by the way.)

This one comes from former UFOFUer and Secret Machine member Benjamin Curtis' new Brooklyn-based project, School of Seven Bells, an act that, in case you haven't been paying attention, we're really high on here at DC9. The video, which was debuted throughout the blogosphere over the weekend, supports the third single, "My Cabal," from the band's excellent late-2008 release, the dreamy, airy, at-times soothing (despite its wall-of-sound arrangement) Alpinisms.

Curtis and his bandmates, twins Claudia and Alejandra Deheza, will stop by Hailey's in Denton with Black Moth Super Rainbow for a gig next week, on Wednesday, June 3.

Get excited for this show, folks. It's looking like a great one...
