BBC 1 DJ Mary Anne Hobbs, who spun at The Green Elephant Friday night, has led the life you wish you had the balls to live: she ran off to London with a hard rock band as a teen; at 21, inspired by Metallica, she moved across the Atlantic to Hollywood to be a rock journalist.

Oh, and she "rides any kind" of motorcycle.

I've never listened to Justin Nozuka's music, but MTV says it "recalls" Nick Drake and Lauryn Hill.

Oh, and his aunt is Kyra Sedgwick, which by powers of deduction leads me to conclude his uncle is the badass Kevin Bacon, who saved the teenagers of Beaumont, Texas, from living without 80s dance moves.

Justin's got a lot to live up to.
