Last night Mumford and Sons played their make-up date at Gexa Energy Pavilion. Good times were had. And I don't mean to pile onto the chorus of indignation aimed at a band whose biggest sin is getting famous. If vests and repetitive song construction really offends your sensibility so much, go listen to something else. It's fine. No one's going to send you to jail for listening to Tera Melos in your car instead of Mumford & Sons.
So let me be clear. I'm not objecting to Mumford & Sons on any level. When KXT plays "The Cave," I do not change the station. I'm simply pointing out that Marcus Mumford makes funny facial expressions. And our photographer, Danny Hurley, captured some particularly funny ones last night. So here's what I think Mumford was thinking about:
