Filmmaker Judd Apatow lands in Dallas today to promote his new movie, This is 40, a raw, raucous look at three weeks in the life of an excessively good-looking American family. I saw it yesterday. It's good. More on that later, from me and people way more qualified than me.
Apatow will drop in on a screening at NorthPark tonight, then run Dallas' media gauntlet at the Ritz tomorrow. (I'm putting the over/under on the number of movies he's pitched at 7.5. Care to wager?) But really, the media could just stay home, and instead watch the video above. It's smart and revealing and fun. Enjoy, and keep an eye on Apatow's Twitter feed today and tomorrow, in case he needs any restaurant suggestions.
