Welcome to another edition of Geek-Offs, where you'll find the perfect distractions to help you muddle your way through hump day each week.

We're a big fan of Armor Games around here, as if you couldn't tell. They're the purveyors of some of our favorite Geek-Off games from the past year. But what do you do when you're stuck in a meeting with no laptop around?

You hit up Shift 2 on your iPhone, wires be damned.

The Shift series of games is pretty addictive. What started out as a simple black and white platformer, where the objective was to toggling your way through black and white space as you collected keys and made your way through a brief world of shifting, has turned into a monster of a mobile game.

With 120 levels (and 40 more to earn with achievements), Shift 2 takes all of our favorite features of the series' browser games and adds things like directional shifts and extra obstacles to keep us on our toes. Shift 2 for the iPhone is the ultimate big brother in the Shift series of games (check out the browser versions of Shift, Shift 2, Shift 3, Shift 4 and Shift Freedom online if you want the full experience).

At a cost of $.99 and with Game Center compatibility, Shift 2 will be one of those games you'll be playing long after the meeting's over.
