More good news for Cowboys fans this morning comes courtesy of Julius Jones and Jacques Reeves. Remember them?
Because the former Cowboys left via free agency and played kinda decent, the NFL has awarded Dallas compensatory picks in the fifth and sixth rounds in next month's draft. The Cowboys, thanks to the Roy Receiver Williams trade, don't own a first-round pick but have 11 selections overall including one in the second, one in the third, two in the fourth, three in the fifth, two in the sixth and two in the seventh.
Though compensatory picks can't be traded, I expect a lot of wheeling and dealing by Jerry Jones on draft day.
I also expect it's the perfect time for ...
a mock draft.
Though the Cowboys signed free agent Gerald Sensabaugh to essentially replace Roy Safety Williams, how's Oregon safety Patrick Chung sound with the 51st overall pick?
