This morning's first query for American Airlines' Tim Wagner, following yesterday's announcement that the Fort Worth-based carrier is eliminating five American and 37 American Eagle flights out of LaGuardia Airport. Will American take into account New York Governor David Paterson's plea that American "take into account more than profit and when they evaluate routes"? Noted the governor: "For many, these airlines are a critical lifeline to family and business obligations." And: Did you see that one coming?
Also, Tim, how many drinks can I order at one time on a flight? Because Jacob Kline, apparently, ordered "several" after his American flight left Dallas/Fort Worth International, and it did not work out well at all. And: How'd that WiFi test go yesterday, anyhow? --Robert Wilonsky
