Just one week ago, Noah Jeppson sent us those photos of that suddenly barren corner of Elm and North Harwood, where Lincoln Properties said it had to remove trees severely damaged by contractors working for New York-based Fuel Outdoor, responsible for that Nike ad. A few hours later, Lincoln's Laurie Garcia sent us the site plan for a new-and-improved park -- a plan that is taking shape at this very moment, according to Noah, who sends three photos he took mere moments ago.

He also includes this note:

A few benches would be a nice addition now that this end of downtown is being cleaned up. Just a few steps down they have locked and chained a gate that was installed a few weeks ago, barring residents from using the other "undamaged" pocket park.
The other two photos, including one of the locked gate, follow.
