A couple of months ago, Tim Rogers provided a generous peek at the miniature version of the Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden scheduled to take root at the Dallas Arboretum some time next year. Says the Arboretum of the $50-million, seven-acre site, it'll be an "outdoor laboratory that will delight and enlighten children of all ages" featuring 15 classrooms amongst its myriad other features, including but certainly not limited to waterfalls and elevated walkways and an observation tower.

For those having a hard time wondering exactly where it's going (on E. Lawther, right on White Rock Lake), so happens it's on the City Plan Commission's agenda for next week, amongst several other items of note we'll get to shortly. City staff wholeheartedly recommends the commission's okee-doke, as do I.
