I felt like I was watching Dazed and Confused last night -- though, to be honest, the whole Tim Lincecum-as-Mitch Kramer meme's been around for a good long while, well before The Wall Street Journal asked Wiley Wiggins about it during Giants-Braves. And speaking of pot -- well, I was -- Newy Scruggs's throwback to the KXAS-Channel 5 studios yesterday is making the rounds today. Why, getting on Gawker and The Huffington Post oughta be enough to make him the Internets Media Celebrity of the Next 39 Minutes, at least.

As evidenced by the video on the other side, Newy was reporting yesterday from outside AT&T Park, where he smelled someone burning the sweet leaf. "We are truly in San Francisco!" Dope-smokin', turns out, was pretty much all Newy could talk about, and when he suggested that folks who couldn't get in ballpark would just sit outside, near McCovey Cove, and smoke weed, Ashanti Blaize (!) says, well, "It's a beautiful place to do that, I'm sure." Newy, got a joint? It'd be a lot cooler if you did.

Update: We've added a second video after the jump, wherein Newy discovers "Weed Rock."
