ABC's set to start shooting that Good Christian Bitches pilot around town on Monday, last we heard, with Carley Bobby as Amanda Vaughn, the divorced mother of two moving back to the Park Cities with her tail tucked. Late last night, ABC announced it's added a new castmate to Sex and the City creator Darren Star's adaptation of Kim Gatlin's book: Kristin Chenoweth, the Broadway star-turned-West Wing'er better known for two episodes of Glee than 22 episodes of Pushing Daisies, also on ABC.

Per Entertainment Weekly, Chenoweth will play Darlene, one of the GCBs. Also, says the magazine, this is how ABC's now officially pitching the series:

"This primetime drama ... asks the questions -- is it possible to start over in a town that thinks they already know you? Amanda, once the ultimate mean girl in high school, returns home to Dallas after her marriage ends in scandal. Humbled, Amanda is nothing like the girl she once was, but as her old classmates reacquaint themselves with the new Amanda, will these 'good Christian bitches' give her a second chance or is this their shot to seek revenge?"

ABC can't change the title now, can it? And, Jack, can I borrow your copy?
