The City of Dallas recently launched Green Dallas, the purpose of which is "building a greener city." Clearly, we needs to try just a little bit harder -- because of the four Texas cities on Popular Science's new list of "America's 50 Greenest Cities," Dallas ain't there. Austin is. Fort Worth is. Amarillo is. Laredo ... is? Yup. But not Dallas, even though, ahem, it's "Earth Day Every Day in Dallas," according to the city's new green site. Except on most days, apparently. --Robert Wilonsky
