So, yeah. At this rate, we'll have directed you to the entirety of the Polyphonic Spree's forthcoming The Fragile Army, fragments of which are scattered across the Interwebs, long before its official June 19 release. Anyway, here's today's link to a leaked track -- in this case, "Section 32 [The Championship]," which you will find, for the moment, right here. One day we'll have our own copy of the record; everyone else seems to.
Also, just a mere 40 minutes ago, Chris Cantalini posted over at Gorilla vs. Bear a pretty wonderful St. Vincent video you won't seen anywhere else (for now). It's a raw performance of the song "Your Lips Are Red," from her due-in-July album Marry Me on Beggars Banquet. According to Cantalini, the video was recorded on April 19 at Brooklyn's Atlantic Sound studio with additional footage shot at Union Hall in Brooklyn. Annie Clark, of course, used to be in the Polyphonic Spree and, therefore, likely already has her own copy of The Fragile Army. --Robert Wilonsky
