Dunno yet how Laurie David felt about her and Sheryl Crow's appearance last night on the SMU campus. But Laurie, wife of Larry, does have this to say this a.m. about her trip to Dallas:

"Say goodbye to old man winter... say hello to sweet spring time".... Tim McGraw sings on his new album "Let It Go"... But wait, I am here in Dallas, our first southern stop on our southern bus tour and am jogging outside in 40 degree freezing cold -- and of course listening to Tim's new album and smarting from the irony.

Ugh. Tim McGraw and a bottle of rose. It's enough to make me wanna drive one of these. --Robert Wilonsky
