A view from the Arcadia Theater fire moments ago, as the fire broke through the roof and collapsed the second floor.

Street vendors were peddling helados to passers-by watching the flames.

Many of the 125 firefighters trying to put out the Arcadia fire were forced to watch from the sidelines.
